I’m Ivan Mihetec, also known as Lord Nature, a wanderer captivated by the untamed beauty of our planet. This blog is my canvas to paint the wonders of nature in words.

I was born and raised in the capital city of Croatia – Zagreb. The creation of Lord Nature evolved over the years through various life situations. The spark was ignited in 2019 when I decided to embark on a hiking trip with a group of friends to one of Croatia’s most challenging mountains, Velebit mountain. The climb didn’t work because we got lost and, above all, we didn’t prepare well. Yet, that failure was enough for me to start again, and fall in love with the beauty of nature that I could only see on television until then.

Through this blog, I aspire to share more than just facts about nature; I aim to evoke emotions and kindle a deeper connection to the world around us. Whether it’s uncovering the hidden gems of biodiverse ecosystems or pondering the delicate balance between humanity and the environment, I invite you to join me on this journey of exploration and discovery.
